​​  The Artist formally known as Shannon was born in Camarillo, CA to a family with a strong musical orientation. She was raised in southern Missouri, in a culture that facilitated her emerging musical style.

​​ She began singing at the age of ten. After years of practice and dedication, her voice embodies rawness and flexibility with her soulful sound. She expresses herself well lyrically, and wrote her first of

​many songs at the age of 17.         ​

She conquered the stage by singing at various functions including weddings, bars & clubs, and fundraisers. Her confidence on stage engages audiences and frequently has them asking for more. She delighted patrons of a Dallas jazz and blues bar, when she performed vocal improvisation and sang covers with a local jazz and blues band.

 Her fun hardworking attitude earned her the opportunity to perform at SXSW in Austin, TX. Her vocal reputation earned her invitations to as the main attraction at a jazz bar and landed her the position as a backup singer for Merril Osmond in the United Kingdom.

 Leoness is a beautiful package filled with talent, intelligence and a fun-loving personality. Her voice is her instrument, her creative outlet, her ultimate tool of expression. Words may only enhance what her voice alone can say. ​
